Great question! I want your experience to be as good as it possibly can be. So here’s my process…

 1. We will discuss the size and scope of your project to determine which package best suits your needs. During this time I will get to know you and your offer. I will make sure I have a full understanding or do further research on my own if needed. This is a critical step in order to create the best offer through the pages of your website.

2. We handle payment arrangements.

3. I like to do a Zoom meeting to get together and knock out things like your domain name, hosting, and anything else that is needed to make your site function etc. During this time I will of course make the best recommendations to you based upon your needs.

3. We will discuss the things I need from you such as your photo, brand colors, preferences, social media accounts etc. I have a convenient form you can complete that makes it painless.

4. I will get to work designing you an awesome website!

5. After I have everything up, I will connect with you to jump into a Zoom meeting to look together at what I’ve completed so far. We will go through the pages of your site to see if there are any tweaks that need to be made, any revisions you would like etc.

 Of course I will keep you in the loop as to the status of where I am on your project. And you are always welcome to contact me with any questions, thoughts, ideas etc. I want you to feel comfortable working with me and to feel like you can contribute during the design process. After all, it is your website and I want you to be very pleased with it.

NO. I never outsource any part of any web design project. Many other web designers do which is why they charge so much more. They have to in order to make any money. If there is ever anything you need that I cannot do myself, I will let you know. I have been designing websites for many years and I have never had any need to outsource anything. You can rest assured and be confident that I’m capable of handling your web design job.

Absolutely. What you are describing is called responsive design. Your website will look great on all devices.

It depends on the project. I very rarely use a template from a third party. Sometimes a client will find a template they really like and they ask if I can integrate it into my design. Of course I can but I will always ask if they are okay if I tweak it to make it truly unique for their site.

Yes. Search Engine Optimization begins when the site is being built. It’s always best to do things like image optimization, alt tagging, keywords etc. to help with search engine rankings.

Yes. Everything will be in your name… domain, hosting, theme license etc.
